This Thursday, girls’ 7th and 8th “A” basketball teams will play at Burger Stadium, for city Championship. Last year, girls basketball went undefeated and won the city championship 54-53. This year has been a little harder for the 8th graders. In the first game of the season they lost their first game ever in middle school to O’Henry by 4 points. Now the Tigers will have a chance to redeem themselves against the O’Henry Mustangs in the City Championship at Burger Stadium. The Tigers will have to test their skills after the loss at the start of the season, to see how much they improved.
