Digit.Press launched in January 2015, first as GorzyckiDigit.com. The staff voted in Fall 2015 to change to Digit.Press for promotional and spelling reasons.

Awards the staff has received:

2016 Bronze Star Winner from ILPC with a Distinguished Merit rating

2016 Site Excellence Badge from School Newspapers Online– the only middle school to receive this award.

2015 Multimedia Badge from School Newspapers Online– the first and only middle school to receive a badge.

2015 ILPC Award of Honor (received three months after launching the site).
