Here are a few upcoming films to look forward to in the next few years. First up, Finding Dory.

In case you are unaware, Finding Dory is the well awaited sequel to Finding Nemo, one of Disney-Pixar’s many successes. It is to be released in theaters June 17, 2016. Ellen DeGeneres, well a known comedian, is returning for the role of the lovable yet forgetful Blue Tang fish, Dory. Also returning from the previous film is Albert Brooks, who voiced the original overprotective parent, Marlin. Alexander Gould, who originally voiced Nemo, has been replaced by Hayden Rolence. Some new faces include Modern Family stars Ty Burrell, (Phil Dunphy, Bailey the Beluga Whale) and Ed O’Neill (Jay Pritchett, Hank the Octopus). Also new is Kaitlin Olson, as Destiny the Whale Shark, as well as Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy, as Dory’s parents, Jenny and Charlie.

Next up, the plot. Not much is known, but here’s what the Wiki has to say about it: ‘Taking place six months after Finding Nemo, Dory suddenly recalls her childhood memories. Remembering something about “the jewel of Morro Bay, California”. Accompanied by Nemo and Marlin, she sets out to find her family. She arrives at the Monterey Marine Life Institute, where she meets Bailey, a white beluga whale; Destiny, a whale shark; and Hank, an octopus, who becomes her guide.’

Next, a personal excitement of mine, Alice Through The Looking Glass.

Alice Through The Looking glass is yet another sequel to look forward to. The director is a man named James Bobin, known for directing two Muppet movies, Muppets (2011) and Muppets Most Wanted.

Returning cast from the original film includes Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter, Helena Bonham Carter as The Red Queen, and Alan Rickman as Caterpillar (His last movie before passing away).

After slipping through a mirror, Alice finds herself back in Underland. Her friends tell her that the Mad Hatter is depressed over the death of his family. Hoping to save his loved ones, Alice steals the Chronosphere from Time to travel into the past. While there, she encounters the younger Hatter and the evil Red Queen.
