The Pep Rally was an exciting event in which the Band, the Cheer team and Dance team performed. The band played Crunch Time, Louie Louie, We Will Rock You and Funky Town.

Seventh grader Aidan R., plays the saxophone.

“The best part was just getting to play the music, and I prepared by learning all the songs in the summer,” said Aidan R.

The pep-rally is for inspiring enthusiasm in the middle school and getting to introduce upcoming sport events.

Seventh grader Emily C. agrees that that last pep rally was better.

“There were more events going on in the last one than this recent one,” said Emily C., “I was looking forward to getting out of sixth period and seeing all the basketball and soccer players getting called up.”

Eighth grade tiger dancer, Devon C. leads the team by setting the positions on the floor so everyone else alines with her.

“The hardest part about being in the front is that I have to be in the middle of the floor because if I’m not, the people behind me won’t have enough room on the sides,” said Devon C.

The school usually does one to two pep rallies per year, this introduces the winter sports and allows the team members to share their accomplishments if their season has ended.
