Many popular movies came out last year in 2014. Students at Gorzycki are looking forward to seeing what movies 2015 has to offer. The most anticipated movie releases for 2015 include the Minion Movie, Pitch Perfect 2, the Hunger Games; Mockingjay part 2, Insurgent and the Avengers sequel.

Sixth Grader Avery S. is most looking forward to seeing Pitch Perfect 2 which is scheduled to come out May 15th, 2015.

“I’m really looking forward to seeing Pitch Perfect 2 because the first Pitch Perfect was really funny and I liked watching it with my friends,” Avery said.

Pitch Perfect when it came out last year, was really popular according to IMDb.com which reviewed it a 8. The poll conducted by the media production class also shows that Pitch Perfect 2 will be the most popular movie.

Some other students interviewed have different opinions about the most popular movie for 2015.

“I think the Minions Movie will be the most popular because lots of people watch Despicable me and the minions are a really big part of Despicable Me,” Sixth Grader Sierra G. says.

The minions Movie is scheduled to release on July 10th, 2015.

Seventh grader Sarah T. also thinks differently about what the most popular movie will be.

“Either the Avengers or MockingJay will be the most popular because they were really popular when the first one came out and I think people are really excited to see the what happens next,” Sarah said.
