Seventh Grade boys basketball had a rough start after losing to Murchison and O’Henry.

Seventh grade A team power forward Daryan W. shares his thoughts about the game against Murchison.

“We had a lot of turnovers and they played better than us, and we should use this loss as motivation to win our next game,” said Daryan W.

Tryouts for seventh grade boys basketball were held on November 11th and November 13th.

Seventh Grader A team shooting guard, Peyton B., explains how to be prepared for tryouts.

“Being a leader, hustling, and being loud is the key to tryouts,” said Peyton B.

Seventh Grade C team Post Henry B. thought it was a good idea to have tryouts way before the first game.

“It was a great idea to have tryouts way before the first game because we get a lot of practice and we will be a lot better as a group when we go against our first team,” said Henry B.

Seventh Grade B team shooting guard Shervin B. predicts how the rest of the season will go.

“I think the season will go quite well because we have worked extremely hard, our talent is at an extremely high level and everyone is a piece to the puzzle,” said Shervin B.
