The A team soccer season is on the up after losing the first game to Murchison 0-4 and then turning around to beat O’Henry 0-5.

Coach Sean Sindt describes what he likes about working with the boys on the team.

“The boys are a super fun group to be with,” Sindt said. “I really love my job and being their coach because of how hard they work and the fact that I’m a soccer fan myself.”

Sindt sees a bright future for the boys with all the effort they’ve been putting in every practice.

“It all depends on how well we improve because there is a lot of work to be done over the next few weeks, but if the boys continue to work as hard as they do now, I think we will do great.”

Eighth grader Tyler D. says that he thinks the rest of the season will go well because they have a solid team and a lot of good offensive and defensive players.

“So far in the season my favorite moment was when I scored my goal against O. Henry, because it was my first goal of the season and I hope to have many more,” Tyler said.

Seventh grader Josh M. feels that the boys soccer team are going to do great this year.

“We are going to go to the championship and we are going to win,” Josh said. “We aren’t going to lose another game.”

Seventh grader Keegan H. said that his favorite part about the season was getting to play for the school and getting to know new people.

“I think we will have a 3-2 season, but we will do good in the tournament at the end of the season,” Keegan says.
