The NFL playoffs are here to see who is the best team in the NFL. This year Super Bowl LI will be held in Houston, Texas on February 5. To win the Super Bowl a team has to win every game they play in the playoffs.

In the regular season the more you win the higher seed you are in the playoffs.

“I think the playoffs are fair,” seventh Russell Weishar said. “Because if the team wins more games, the team gets a higher seed, and the team could maybe get a bye.”

Seventh grader Austin Dunham thinks players should get shorter breaks in between games.

“I like the playoffs because they reseed the match ups to play the appropriate teams,” Dunham said.

The Dallas Cowboys finished the season with 13 wins and three loses.

“I think the player that will shine  the most is Ezekiel Elliot because he has a great offensive line will open up big holes,” Sixth Grader Jose Bahena. “I think the Dallas Cowboys will win the super bowl because they have a red hot offense and good defense.”

During the regular season the Houston Texans were switching Quarterbacks due to inconsistency.

“I’m surprised the Texans made the playoffs because they had Quarterback problems throughout the season,” said Seventh grader Griffin Morris. “The most overrated team in the playoffs is the Houston Texans because their defense and quarterback are overrated.”

Tom Brady, the quarterback for the New England Patriots has been in playoffs 22 times. The Patriots will be playing in the Super Bowl this year.

“I think Tom Brady will shine the most because he has experience and shines under pressure,” Morris said.

The number one seed gets a bye in the first week. The new England Patriots and the Dallas Cowboys earned the bye for this past season.

“I think the playoff system is fair because the teams that have done well get a break, but the teams that haven’t done so well need to prove themselves,” Morris said.
