Chinatown is a popular restaurant that has been serving Chinese cuisine for over 10 years. They offer a wide selection of rices, bento boxes, and sushi. Sixth graders  Rio P. and Evan M. explain what they like most about Chinatown.

“They have some nice people there and the service is nice.” Evan Said. “My favorite food is probably their dumplings. I also like the California roll.”

Though Chinatown is known for their unique and vast selection of sushi and decorations, students explain what would make the experience even better.

“Maybe have like an outside deck area.”  sixth grader Bella S. said “I don’t think I would change anything I had a great experience and I loved it.” said seventh grader Trei L.

Chinatown has a unique style of decor. They have vases and statues from China and it really adds to the culture and atmosphere of the restaurant.

“I like the decor I think it looks really cool they have a good design and it feels like you are in China when you go in,” Trei said “When you go there it’ll be a good experience. It’s cool because you get to see a lot of their culture and my cousin lives in that part of town.”

Bella explains her funniest experience at Chinatown.

One time I totally offended everybody there because I said I don’t like sushi and it’s really gross,” Bella said. “I said it really loud so all the waiters and waitresses started looking at me and I was really embarrassed and I was like why did I just say that.”

Students explain why they would recommend Chinatown to others.

“I would recommend Chinatown because I really like the design and the food is really good too and it’s cool to see that culture,” Trei said. “I would recommend it because it’s a really nice restaurant but it’s pretty laid back and casual and it just a really fun setting,” Bella said.

Trei L. enjoys the chicken variety of Chinatown’s menu. Trei describes his favorites.

“I like to eat the brown rice and chicken and they have really good orange chicken as well,” Trei said.

Students give advice to those who plan to visit Chinatown.

“Get the dumplings,” Rio said. “I would say if you have a reservation, show up a little early because they go pretty quick and they will cancel it if you aren’t there on time.” Bella said.
