Nice kicks is a popular sneaker store that recently relocated to Guadalupe Street. They were founded in 2006 to provide shoe-enthusiasts with authentic shoes. It is well known for having very popular sneakers that appeal to many customers. Sixth grader Gibson Swift explains why he loves Nice Kicks so much.

“I like Nice Kicks because they have a wide variety of shoes,” Swift said. “Their prices aren’t too bad to where it’s a treat but a steal at the same time. The employees are also super nice and they help with anything you need.”

Nice Kicks sells brands like Adidas, Puma, Vans, Nike, etc. this is what attracts their customers.

“I like Nice Kicks because they have very exotic shoes,” eighth grader Brynn Laughlin said. “They have  a very wide shoe selection and very high end sneaker brands.”

Nice kicks was started from a shoe blog, this is one of the things that sets it apart from most stores.

“They have a good variety of shoes and they aren’t like Texas Shoe Exchange and stores like that,” seventh grader Lawrence Wilkerson said. “Nice Kicks is different because they have shirts with their logo and I like the shoe display.  I like the types of shoes because other places like Foot Locker only have certain types of shoes, but Nice Kicks has many different kinds and versions.”

Since Nice Kicks sells high end brands, they can get a little pricey. Wilkerson talks about the most he has ever spent at this sneaker store.

“The most amount of money I have spent on shoes was $400 for the Space Jams 2016,” said Wilkerson.

Just like any store nice kicks has things they can improve on. Wilkerson gives some feedback on improvements in the store.

“They can improve on just having a better sale section,” Wilkerson said. “By that I mean they can make it more appealing. Nice kicks can improve on appealing to different types of customers.

Nice Kicks has many popular brands. Eighth grader George Fattouh talks about why he chooses Nice Kicks over other shoe stores that cater the same brands.

“Nice Kicks has a different variety of shoes,” Fattouh said. “They also carry a lot of shoes like Timberlands and other shoe stores don’t. The vibe is pretty saucy there too.”
