Art is a huge part of our lives and expresses our personality. People all around the world believe art is the foundation of most homes, cultures, and civilizations. Art ranges from architecture, to drawing painting, and even music. Seventh grader Zoe Kerns describes whether she likes to create artwork or not.

“Yes, because it’s a pastime and it shows what I’ve done for the day,” Kerns said.

Art is known for being very different and abstract that there will almost always be something that will catch somebody’s eye. Seventh grader Liam McLemore gives his opinion on whether he enjoys looking at art or not.

“I like looking at art because I enjoy imagining what is happening behind the scenes,” said McLemore.

Personality can be described a large number of ways. Some people think that art is a way for someone to express their personality. Eighth grader Ethan Li explains his stance on art and personality.

“I think that the kind of art you do shows what kind of personality you have,” said Li.

Although there are several types of art, many people believe that there is something that connects all the types of art depending on the artist. Blaze Foster talks about how the different types of art are connected.

“The different types of art are all similar to one another because they each all represent different elements of art, such as variety and color, and unity,” said Foster.
